Medical Records Department is the custodian of patient’s health records and to provide prompt & efficient service to the end users. In Medical Records Department all the records are first arranged and the entire date is scanned & secured securely. This will enable the clinician to retrieve the data at later date for any re-admission. As per the policy hospital stores routine medical records for a period of 5 years. With the scanning system it is possible to store the data for longer time without compromising the space. Other function of Medical Records Department is compiling statistics of all the departments.
