4. Adrenal Gland Disorders
- Adrenal Insufficiency (Addison’s Disease): Managing conditions where the adrenal glands do not produce enough hormones like cortisol.
- Cushing’s Syndrome: Treating conditions caused by excess cortisol production, often from tumors or prolonged steroid use.
- Pheochromocytoma: Diagnosing and treating rare tumors of the adrenal gland that affect blood pressure and heart function.
5. Osteoporosis and Bone Health
- Osteoporosis Diagnosis and Treatment: Using bone density scans to diagnose osteoporosis and prescribing medications to prevent bone loss and fractures.
- Parathyroid Disorders: Managing hyperparathyroidism, which can lead to calcium imbalances and bone issues.
6. Reproductive Endocrinology
- Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): Treating hormonal imbalances in women that can cause irregular periods, infertility, and other metabolic issues.
- Infertility Management: Addressing hormonal causes of infertility in both men and women.
- Menopause and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT): Managing the symptoms of menopause with hormone therapy, including hot flashes, mood swings, and bone health.
7. Metabolic Disorders
- Metabolic Syndrome: Managing conditions characterized by obesity, insulin resistance, high cholesterol, and hypertension.
- Obesity Management: Offering weight management programs, including diet, exercise, medications, and in some cases, referrals for bariatric surgery.
8. Pediatric Endocrinology
- Growth Disorders: Diagnosing and treating conditions related to growth hormone deficiency, early or delayed puberty, and genetic growth issues.
- Congenital Endocrine Disorders: Managing endocrine issues present from birth, such as congenital adrenal hyperplasia and neonatal hypothyroidism.
9. Lipid Disorders
- High Cholesterol and Hyperlipidemia: Managing patients with abnormal cholesterol and lipid levels to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.
10. Hormonal Imbalances
- Male Hypogonadism: Treating conditions where men produce insufficient testosterone, affecting libido, energy levels, and muscle mass.
- Hirsutism: Managing excessive hair growth in women due to hormonal imbalances, often associated with PCOS.
11. Neuroendocrine Tumors
- Diagnosis and Management: Detecting and managing rare tumors that arise from hormone-producing cells in the body, often in the pancreas or gastrointestinal tract.
12. Genetic Endocrine Disorders
- Genetic Testing and Counseling: Providing genetic testing for hereditary endocrine conditions like Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) and other familial endocrine disorders.
13. Hormone Replacement Therapies
- For Hormone Deficiencies: Treating conditions where the body produces insufficient levels of hormones, like cortisol, thyroid hormones, or sex hormones.
14. Comprehensive Endocrine Testing
- Lab and Imaging Services: Providing comprehensive blood tests to assess hormone levels and imaging techniques (ultrasound, MRI, CT scans) to evaluate glandular abnormalities.

Dr.Sachin Modi
MBBS, MD (General Medicine), DrNB – Endocrinology
Dr. Sachin Modi is a Consultant Endocrinologist with advanced training in the full spectrum of hormonal and metabolic disorders. He has completed MD in General Medicine and his DrNB (Endocrinology) at Army Hospital (Research & Referral), New Delhi.
Dr. Sachin has a special passion for comprehensive diabetes care and cutting‑edge diabetes technology. He is skilled in using the latest basal, ultra‑rapid and analogue insulins; modern insulin delivery systems such as continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), insulin pumps and hybrid closed‑loop/automated insulin delivery systems; and advanced injectable therapies including tirzepatide and other incretin‑based agents. He also has hands‑on experience with novel bone and growth‑related treatments such as romosozumab for severe osteoporosis and recombinant growth hormone (rGH) in appropriate patients.
Beyond diabetes, Dr. Sachin manages the full range of endocrine disorders – thyroid disease, pituitary and adrenal disorders, reproductive hormone problems (including PCOS and male infertility), obesity and metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases, and complex paediatric endocrine conditions involving growth and puberty.
Dr. Sachin’s target patient group ranges from young adults with Type 1 diabetes who need intensive insulin and technology‑based care, to individuals with Type 2 diabetes struggling with long‑term control, women with PCOS or other reproductive hormone issues, children with growth or puberty concerns, and older adults with osteoporosis or recurrent fractures. He also has a keen interest in patients with “unexplained” symptoms – such as persistent fatigue, weight changes, recurrent low sugars, resistant hypertension, or unusual bone and skin findings – where a detailed endocrine evaluation can reveal an underlying hormonal cause.
Areas of Special Interest :
1. Comprehensive diabetes care: Type 1, Type 2, pancreatogenic (Type 3c), LADA, MODY and gestational diabetes Advanced insulin and diabetes technology: Initiation and fine‑tuning of basal–bolus and analogue insulin regimens
2. Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), professional and personal
3. Insulin pumps and hybrid closed‑loop/automated insulin delivery systems
4. Newer diabetes and metabolic therapies: tirzepatide and other incretin‑based agents for obesity and diabetes
5. Thyroid disorders: hypothyroidism, Graves’ disease, thyroiditis, nodular and post‑surgical thyroid disease
