Rangadore Memorial Hospital has successfully completed 15 glorious years and our surgery department is there from first day of inception, the surgery department with the qualified team of 6-8 surgeons with more than 20 years of experience are leading the department.
Its a proud feeling to say that the department had started its 1st Laproscopic and Laser in General and Gastrointestinal surgery. We have done many complex surgeries giving a new life to the patients. We handle both trauma, emergency and routine surgical procedures very skillfully. We are already involved in teaching programs (DNB) by training upcoming young doctors.
Entire bucket of general surgery procedures are done here. Minor surgeries to most major surgeries are done.
Minor surgeries under local anesthesia like lipoma, Sebaceous Cyst, Abscess, Burns, Corn, Granuloma, Ear Lobe Repair, Carbuncle, Suturing, Injection Sclerotherapyfor early Hemorrhoids and Varicose Veins.
Major procedures for which patients need to get admitted include Hernia, Appendicitis, Gall Bladder Stones, Liver Abscess, Intestinal Obstruction, Perforation Peritonitis, Hemorrhoids, Fistula, Fissure-in-ANO,Perianal Abscess, Pilonidal Sinus,Gangrene of Limbs and Toes, debridement.
Both open and laparoscopic surgeries are done. Laser surgery for colo-rectal disease and varicose veins also done.
Endoscopy, Upper GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy and Colonoscopy done here.

He has done his medical schooling from renowned Government medical college Nagpur, Maharashtra. He has multiple fellowships like minimal asscess, colorectal, international college of surgeon. He is certified laser surgeon in proctology & varicose vein Surgery. He is among very few Surgeons Who has also done MBA in Hospital management.

He is also trained in surgical oncology from Tata memorial hospital, Mumbai and in laparoscopic surgery. He has worked in two premier medical colleges and attached hospitals, in the city as professor in surgery.
Areas of special interest: 1) surgical oncology having obtained training from Tata memorial hospital.
2) laparoscopic surgery particularly for Hernia, Gallbladder, spleen and colonic problems.
3) Hemorroids or piles and fistula surgery.
4) Thyroid and salivary gland surgery.
