Dr Deepak has With more than a decade of experience as a pathologist and laboratory director, Dr. Deepak M. Nadig is committed to providing patients with clear and dependable diagnostic results. Throughout his career at institutions like M S Ramaiah Hospital (Gokula Metropolis), Kerudi Cancer Hospital, and SN Medical College, he has always focused on maintaining the highest standards for clinical testing. Beyond his lab work, he is passionate about public health; during the pandemic, he worked closely with the BBMP to help lead one of the country’s largest COVID-19 testing and tracking operations.
Areas of special interest: Dr. Nadig specializes in diagnostic fields, including Oncopathology, Histopathology, and Renal and Transplant Pathology. He has a keen interest in the intersection of medicine and technology, specifically Digital Pathology, whole slide imaging, and the fractal analysis of nuclear morphology. Additionally, he is keen on Laboratory Quality and Governance, focusing on NABL accreditation, Quality Control (QC) program design, and the implementation of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
Achievements: Gold Medalist: Recipient of the Dr. S. J. Nagalotimath Memorial Gold Medal for being the University Topper in MD Pathology at JSS University.
Professional Leadership: Served as an Executive Committee Member (2019–2021) for the Karnataka Chapter of the Indian Association of Pathologists & Microbiologists (KCIAPM).
Research& Mentorship: A peer reviewer and published researcher in nephropathology and cytomorphology, he has also mentored award-winning undergraduate research.
Entrepreneurial Success: Successfully launched and scaled a healthcare ecosystem that integrates in-clinic diagnostics with home healthcare services.
